I am by no means an expert but it seems that most of the fish sent to me (4 to 5 out of 6 total) were males. I had plans for this and split them amongst my various tanks, and obviously a 1 male to 2 female ratio is hard to guarantee. But all the fish arrived on time, alive, and in good shape! They gobbled up freeze-dried food the next day, and are looking good! 10/10 reccomend.
Very sad - mine developed dwarf gourami iridovirus. It's true what they say - they go quick. One after another. Lathargic, erratic swimming, lesions and pale whitish patches were present in each, lost their colors, uninterested in eating, too. All were gone in under 2 weeks. So, just FYI to any planning to purchase. It's a gamble with dwarf gourami.
Thanks for including the extra snail, one was DOA but the other one is doing great!!
