I have several types of Apistos and I would have to say these are my favorite. Their colors are beautiful. They both seem very chill with others in my community tank. They are a little shy. Mine hid for the first week in an Apisto cave. They would pop out to eat and hurry back in. After about a week they have started spending more time out of the cave, but they can still be shy & timid at times.

Great fish!

I have never had any problems with any of the fish that I have purchased from Aqua Huna, I just put Prime in the water when I first receive the fish then I drip acclimate. They are always pale when I receive them and after a few hours of being in my tank they color up nicely.If I could add a photo I would, my male is so blue with red cheeks, so beautiful!
