We ship an assortment of six Neocaridina davidi shrimp variants: blue velvet, red cherry, yellow rice, green jade, red rili, and orange. You will receive at least five different variants in each 10-pack.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority Mail.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!

When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.

Slowly warming them up is very important! 

Note:  Shrimp are very hard to count.  Please put them in a small container, then count them!

Make sure to check the sponge they are shipped with for shrimp before throwing it away.

  • Male/Female: Will be picked at random (no custom orders)

If your shrimp are shipped in a breather bag, you can find the bag of shrimp wrapped inside a paper towel. See photo for example of how your order may arrive.

Great Service, Great Shrimp!

A couple shrimp were missing from an order of 20 (the pH of the water where I live is relatively high, so there was lots of time to search while slowly drip acclimating), and I was refunded promptly. All were alive, well, and in an assortment of colors.

Some months on, they are still doing well and have multiplied, with a bunch of smaller black shrimp, some that may just be very dark blue or green, and even some that look like tiny, darker, more high-contrast versions of the amano shrimp also in the tank. Neat!

Only one rili offspring that I've seen so far (it's a large, heavily planted tank, so I could be missing some), but it's interesting to see the colors change as they mate!

All of my shrimp arrived healthy and one of them is pregnant. She is still doing well and has not released eggs early. Very happy! Will be ordering from this site for all my fish needs!
