I've wanted these for a while and am so happy I finally got them. They're adorable and seem to be quite helpful with cleaning off algae. I thought they'd be difficult to keep, but so far both are hardy as can be! I do spoil my fish with a big variety of foods including live, frozen, pellets, and flakes to keep everyone happy and healthy, so that could have something to do with it. Cutest lil guys, I will definitely be ordering more of these in the future.

I waited a few months to leave this review. This was my first time keeping this fish and I have to say AquaHuna sent me a healthy pair! They are very unique looking and I feared getting them until I watched Aquarium Coop species profile on hillstream loaches bc I thought I needed fast moving cooler water. Mine are thriving energetic great appetite so if you feel you can't make your tank work for them you might be wrong and they are worth while for my hobby. Aquahuna has allowed me to get a wide variety of healthy fish that my LFS doesn't carry. I live on the east coast and have lost a few thru shipping which I also come to realize happens when getting fish locally too. Difference being Aquahuna makes good on loss. Most survive and are healthy and that ratio is not true for my LFS store plus they medicate the fish. I buy both locally and thru them and very happy with the quality from aquahuna compared to LFS. Prices are good also!
