I purchased 12 of these beautiful fish. Ten of the fish appear to be in perfect health, however the other two were not. One of the fish had a sever crooked spine, it struggled to even swim with the others. The other fish has a minor crooked spine and is missing one of their pectoral fins. Given the affordable price for these fish, I am still pleased with my purchase. However I am very surprised at the lack of a quality check before shipping me the fish. Its been almost a month since my purchase and I can already see the fish starting to gain color.

Ordered these x2 as part of a larger order for my rainbow tank. Had never heard of these fish prior to ordering. Did some quick research to make sure they'd be community friendly and ordered 2 packs. Bummed that it appears I only received 2 males but happy that all 3 have acclimated well so far in my isolation tank. They're buddies with the cherry barbs I have in there and are excited to see them blend into my larger tank. All 6 arrived small, but healthy. After 2 weeks of daily feedings in their iso tank, they've filled out nicely & are very active!

Fish were in excellent health after shipping. Color began to appear after a few weeks of feeding flake foods and frozen brine shrimp. Now they look like their name. Get a dozen! They look great schooling!
