Note: The shrimp are shipped with a sponge. The shrimp may bury themselves inside of this during shipping, so please make sure to check for shrimp in the  sponge before throwing it away!

Domestic shipping only!  Sorry, we cannot ship to anyone in Hawaii & Washington State.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!

When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.

Slowly warming them up is very important! 

Note:  Shrimp are very hard to count.  Please put them in a small container, then count them!

  • Male/Female: Will be picked at random (no custom orders)

If your shrimp are shipped in a breather bag, you can find the bag of shrimp wrapped inside a paper towel. See photo for example of how your order may arrive.

4 Months Later, Still Strong

These shrimp arrived, active and healthy. They have done very well considering the temp has been higher than recommended. A quality, hearty variety of shrimp. I would buy the very same, except I didn't intend to buy “cold water shrimp.” I only just noticed. They survive the warmer (homeschool mom tanks), but I would not be unkind to another batch. (There are other reds for the likes of us) If you have cooler water, I highly recommend these. Little masterpieces.

Good quality

The shrimp came in great, and all were alive. I read a few reviews mentioning lack of color. After a week or two, they all got the deep Bloody Mary color. It just takes time for them to get comfortable.

So pretty! will order again

(Ordered a 6 pack) I love the deep red color so gorgeous. No DOA's and doing great in my community tank they have also started breeding. I've ordered a couple of Amano shrimp from Aquahuna before and they are also doing amzing and walk in little groups with the Blood Mary Shrimps very cute.
