Note: The shrimp are shipped with a moss ball or sponge. The shrimp may bury themselves inside of this during shipping, so please make sure to check for shrimp in the moss ball / sponge before throwing it away!

Domestic shipping only!  Sorry, we cannot ship to anyone in Hawaii & Washington State.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!

When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.

Slowly warming them up is very important! 

Note:  Shrimp are very hard to count.  Please put them in a small container, then count them!

Relived to Find All in Good Condition

I was a bit reluctant to order them, because I had ordered 8 green neon tetras from Aqua Huna about 2 months back and they all came young and sick. Only 1 survived. However, I decided to give another chance because of this company's outstanding reviews, and I was not disappointed. All came healthy within 4 days of my order, which as placed on the weekend. They survived a few hours on the south Florida porch while I was at work. Some didn't even seem stressed, and I even had a large female with a few eggs. Their colors and patterns are certainly high grade and they're quite beautiful. Overnight, none of them died and they're all actively searching for food in the quarantine tank. Definitely worth the price for such healthy and beautiful happy shrimp. Much love friends!

P.S. If you want to ensure better survival rate, opt for a longer acclimation time, several hours (I did about 8) with a slow drip speed (1-2 drips per second) should be more than enough to keep them comfy and play it safe. Give them some time to color up and destress from the packaging too.
