Fish all look good, that is when they come out of hiding. I look forward to the next purchase!!!
I love my emerald eye rasboras! They are great little fish that don't bother anyone in the tank, but they do differ in behavior from what I've read. They are very active and LOVE to swim in the flow of the air bubbles. They also seem more mid tank than top tank like I'd read, but it's ok since they are so peaceful and don't bother anybody. And when I put daphnia in the tank they were some serious *active* hunters. So why the four stars? Because two of my EERs are actually Celestial Pearl Danios! At first I thought the tank lights were playing tricks on my eyes, but as time went on and they started maturing it became obvious. The problem is the two CPDs chased EVERYTHING in the tank -- even my Pea Puffers. Especially my smallest little puffer that I feel pretty protective over. I moved the CPDs into my shrimp breeding tank and my shrimp don't care at all. So they can have the run of that tank. :~D
As soon as I took these 2 out of the packaging and put them in a holding tank, they immediately came out and took off. Color is good. I also ordered 2 blue, but only 1 made it. I sent a message and let them know, they responded quickly and made it right. All 3 are cruising the tank now.
