I waited 9 days from receiving these Peacock Gudgeons before writing my review. I did pay for overnight shipping as that is the only way I believe to buy fish by mail. I bought 6 Peacock Gudgeons and they arrived as juveniles so a little too young yet to determine **** ratio. They have been in my quarantine tank for 9 days and have been doing great. All 6 are still accounted for and they are active, coloring up, and swimming around. I run a 50/50 mix of tap and RODI so my water parameters were only 1 dKH off of the shipping water so it made it very easy to acclimate water for them. Over the 9 days they have received 3 doses of Paraguard and Prazi Pro as well as medicated food with a mix of Focus, Metroplex, Kanaplex, and Maracyn. I usually buy fish only from my LFS, but Peacock Gudgeons have been hard to come by in my area. In the past, I have only bought inverts from Aqua Huna and so this was my first fish order. I am very happy with the results and would buy fish from them again!
Working on Amazonian fish schools natural habitat, I think these
fishes already knew each other! Had to get school numbers.
Hatchets are very healthy, look good and arrived in 2 days.
