Writing this Review on Monday. Received my order on Friday.

Giving the benefit of the doubt on this review. I received 6 instead of the stated 8. One was DOA and the others were lively. Drip Acclimated the 5x Chili for 1 hour 30 and they were thriving. I guess after a few days some eventually kicked the bucket from an underlying illness, perhaps from stress of travel and now im left with only one.

Tank has 6 Pygmy and 2 CPD’s and 3 Bloody Mary shrimp. Must be the fish, be wary they are sensitive.

Diseased Fish

I added 8 of these to a tank with 5 that had been in the tank almost 2 years now. It's on me for not quarantining, but just a few days after introducing them to the aquarium, 2 of the original Chili's remain and only 2 of the new ones. They appear to have Epistyles. Since Aqua Huna only has a DOA policy, I will not purchase anything from them in the future.

Poor survival rate for the chilis, one has lumps.

Ordered 24 chilis, only about 16 survived the first 24 hours and one has 2 weird lumps on it - very big relative to the size of the fish. These fish will be staying in QT for a long time - until I figure out or fix the lumps on the one guy. To be fair, I did order in the summer and I’m in Texas, but they came with a cold pack in the box and the water temp was only 82 on arrival. Well packed but why did they send me an obviously unhealthy fish with lumps on it? I didn’t see him for quite a while (even my QT have loads of plants to help fish acclimate better) - he’s now out and about and acting normal, but the lumps are still present.

The Kubotai rasboras ordered at the same time are doing great (put into the same quarantine tank as the chilis since they are intended to go into the same tank once out of QT.

The Siamese algae eaters (not in the same quarantine, obviously) are doing great. The panda garras only 2/6 survived (these were separated into 2 different tanks, none in with the chilis or algae eaters). Horned nerites are great (separated into 7 different tanks). Strawberry rasboras 9/10 survived in their own species tank and all look great.
