Note: The shrimp are shipped with a sponge. The shrimp may bury themselves inside of this during shipping, so please make sure to check for shrimp in the sponge before throwing it away!

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority. Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days. For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.
Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!
When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.
Slowly warming them up is very important!
Note: Shrimp are very hard to count. Please put them in a small container, then count them!
Ideal water temperature for cold water shrimp: 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit
Neocaridina zhangjiajiensis is known as the pearl shrimp. It is a freshwater shrimp.
N. zhangjiajiensis shrimp's color ranges from white to blue. The intensity of their blue depends on genetics and the water conditions of the shrimp. As with most shrimp, the female is more colorful than males. Their color is highly variable and they are often crossbred with different colors to produce a pattern or a different shade. Full-grown shrimps reach about 2.5–3.2 centimetres (0.98–1.26 in). There is a variants of the species called "white pearl shrimp" or "snowball shrimp". Snowball Shrimp are translucent white in color. Snowball Shrimp primarily eat biofilm and algae.
