Healthy I think?

Out of all the fish delivered (think it was 6 required) only one shows any signs of color. Lightly but not vibrant like you see everywhere else. I guess I am just getting a load of lower grade fish. What are the chances I get all females and only one male? They are swimming, eating, and carrying on.

Teenie Tiny - Smaller Than Pictures - Have Baby Brine Shrimp Ready

I ordered 12, all were alive on delivery but when I opened the bag I was surprised by how small they were. They were probably half the size of what is pictured (so about half the size of a penny). They hadn't developed any color yet, they were just ittie bittie gray fry. Fortunately they were going in a species-only tank and I already had live baby brine shrimp available. It has been several weeks of feeding them baby brine shrimp (they were too tiny to accept any other food I tried, even crushed flakes) and they have grown enough where their colors have come through and I can tell I have 3 males and 9 females now. I would order these again, but with the expectation that they are going to come fry-sized and would need brine shrimp at the ready when they arrive. Prospective buyers be prepared!
