I ordered some (algae eating shrimp) shrimp. I right off noticed some body parts floating in the bag. There should have been 10 shrimp; only 8 arrived in one piece. When I opened their bag there was a very sting smell of silver. I tested the water they were in for ammonia and holy cow! The level was between 4.0 and 8.0. I'm drip acclimating them now. I hope the rest survive. I ordered them on a Wednesday and got them Saturday so they were not in transit that long. I really don't know why I continue to order from Aqua Huna. I think I'm done with this order.

I ordered a 10 pack of these guys a little over a month ago and I'm so happy with them. All 10 arrived alive and healthy. I've struggled with keeping shrimp in the past but these seem really hearty so far. I have them in a 10 gallon with a group of pygmy corydoras and they've settled in well and have already started breeding! I personally really love the more natural look of them - they all have really beautiful subtle coloration, and I'm curious to see what sorts of fun colors might pop up as they breed, since I'm assuming they are mixed culls. Probably going to order another group for my bigger community tank.

These seem much more active and smarter than cherry shrimp. They're very good at hiding, and very discrete. Good price.

Exactly what I wanted for one of my tanks... the shrimp have some colors to them, some are a little bluish or greenish or brownish... but they don't stand out like bright red cherry shrimp would, so they don't distract from my fish and plants. "Bland" looking shrimp, but they do look great, I have to hunt around to see them, which is what I wanted. Great price too!

I've had them establish themselves in a high mulm , high leaf litter sidecar breeder box attached to 14 gallon cube. 6 weeks in - They are reproducing - a few finding their own way into the cube and thriving. Good looking shrimp. Quality stock.
