We ship an assortment of six Neocaridina davidi shrimp variants: blue velvet, red cherry, yellow rice, green jade, red rili, and orange. You will receive at least five different variants in each 10-pack.

Ideal water temperature for cold water shrimp: 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit

Domestic shipping only!  Sorry, we cannot ship to anyone in Hawaii & Washington State.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority Mail.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!

When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.

Slowly warming them up is very important! 

Note:  Shrimp are very hard to count.  Please put them in a small container, then count them!

Make sure to check the sponge they are shipped with for shrimp before throwing it away.

  • Male/Female: Will be picked at random (no custom orders)

If your shrimp are shipped in a breather bag, you can find the bag of shrimp wrapped inside a paper towel. See photo for example of how your order may arrive.

Great product and company

I ordered three different kinds of shrimp and 8 emerald Rasbora. Despite a long mail delay and frigid weather, they arrived mostly intact. The delay was completely due to the post office - not Aqua Huna. We lost 2 rasboras in transit. One pack of shrimp had all present. One was 2 short and 1 was one short. My refund was processed quickly. This order did not arrive for 10 days after it was shipped. The remaining shrimp and fish were healthy and are doing well.

Had mine for a while now!!

I ordered this pack last spring, I think? From that one pack i now have shrimp filling 3 different tanks!! Yes arrived healthy and did well... Started reproducing... Yes, I knew once they started breeding the colors would end up more like the wild caught... I personally prefer the more natural look and they are much healthier. Surprisingly though I am still getting the different colors a lot. I may do a solid color at some point in a tank or 2... If I do I will definitely be coming back here to get them!
