Ideal water temperature for cold water shrimp: 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit

Note: The shrimp are shipped with a sponge. The shrimp may bury themselves inside of this during shipping, so please make sure to check for shrimp in the  sponge before throwing it away!

Domestic shipping only!  Sorry, we cannot ship to anyone in Hawaii & Washington State.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!

When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.

Slowly warming them up is very important! 

Note:  Shrimp are very hard to count.  Please put them in a small container, then count them!

So excited

My first babies just hatched! The original 8 arrived alive though one looked lethargic and ultimately I think is the one that died. It was within a day of arrival so the refund for that one was a very easy process. I did drip acclimate which I think makes all the difference for shrimp transitioning well. I can’t wait to get more shrimp and even fish from Aqua Huna in the future.
