The Sparkling Gourami we have in stock can vary in size. Please refer to the photos where you can use the penny as a size reference. The larger sized ones are more aggressive and can be seen at the front of the tank. The smaller sized ones can be seen towards the back of the tank.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Undersized, 1 malformed, 2 of six died in a few days

All six sparkling gouramis arrived alive. They were very small, two just minuscule, about the size of a small piece of gravel in the tank. One was malformed, kind of bent sideways and couldn’t straighten out. 2 of the 6 died within days, the rest are doing well. I have a planted tank and had tested all water parameters and was good, including a temp of 78 and ph 7.0. Along with the gouramis I’d ordered 4 dwarf chain loaches and similarly they all died within a few days of arrived. An expensive experiment in mail order fishes - I won’t do it again.

I bought the Sparkling Gourami. They came in a school of 6. The order went smooth and the shipment arrived within a few days. All of the fish were alive when they arrived. Sadly though, after a week and a half, they have started to die. This was my first purchase and I would try ordering again in the future.
