I ordered 16 Phoenix rasboras and it took 3 days to get to me via USPS priority mail, 13 of the 16 were DOA unfortunately.
I thought since I lived a state over I would've gotten them a bit quicker but I guess USPS wanted to take their time. I got them directly from the mail carriers hand so they weren't sitting out or anything.
On the bright side 27 of my 28 neocaridina shrimp made it fine and there were a few berried females.
At the time of writing this they are out of stock so I ordered 20 strawberry rasboras to give my 3 surviving Phoenix rasboras some friends. I'd rather spend the extra $10 for the overnight shipping with fish from now on.
Hopefully Aqua Huna gets back to me about my refund on the DOAs. Maybe I just got unlucky.
All arrived healthy and wiggling around. I quarantine them for a week, they will be moving to the big tank this weekend. I am sure they will be exploring it
I'm a big fan of these little guys. They're a great addition to a community set-up and I rarely see them around L.A.
All arrived alive and are doing well in my QT.
3 of the 8 are VERY small, but they're eating small daphnia and pulverized flake food so they should be fine.
Eventually, they'll be living with Ember tetra's, pygmy cories, chain loaches, ufo plecos and Amano shrimp.
