Fish in caption photo are Sinogastromyzon wui

I think I finally IDed the Chinese UFO Loaches I received, which are the same as the fish in the photo at the top of this page. This is Sinogastromyzon wui, from the mountain streams of Guangxi. They grow quite big, 4"/10 cm, and while they'll munch on aufwuchs, they're primarily insectivores.

Cool fish

Everything I ordered came in very healthy and the loaches are beautiful and doing well!

Now I finally believe UFOs are real!

Purchased four UFO loaches from AquaHuna. As far as I can tell, all four were Pseudogastromyzon, three in one species I can't pinpoint and another that's probably P. cheni. One fish died in transit (promptly refunded by AH), one jumped (my bad) and the other two have just graduated from quarantine. I'm a fan of AquaHuna's enlightened pricing, shipping and DOA policies.
