So I ordered 3 peacock gudgeons, and only 1 of the 3 survived more than a few days
Over a month period, I ordered three groups of 24 (total 72) harlequin rasboras for my 75 gallon tank. The first two shipments seemed fine (except for a mis-count in one order), but I noticed that several fish in the third shipment seemed to be very skinny with stiff fins that stood out from their bodies. After a few days, they began to die and the unknown disease spread throughout my tank. After a week, at least 30 fish were dead. Finally, I dosed the entire tank with a broad-spectrum medication, which caused my biological filtration to collapse. So far, I've lost at least $120: $90 for the dead fish and $30 for the medication, and now I have to re-establish my tank's filters. Any reputable dealer quarantines and (if necessary) medicates their fish before sending them to customers - but that is apparently not true with Aqua Huna. The fish are guaranteed to be healthy, but not beyond 3 days. Coincidentally, that is the same amount of time it takes parasites or infections to begin causing deaths and spread throughout your tank. If you buy from AquaHuna, be SURE to medicate the fish before introducing them to your tank. This is a disaster that I am still trying to fix.
