Arrived in great shape. They are awesome tank cleaners and they are way easier to find in the tank than the zebra nerites. I have a coconut cave for my kuhli loaches to hide in during the day, and one of the RRs planted itself on top of that cave and didn't leave until it had eaten every speck of dark brown off of it. But when it was finally done with the coconut it started targeting the bladder snail eggs. I couldn't have that, so I moved both my RRs over to my 20 gallon tank (no snails), which is also where my 2 zebra nerites are. After the same RR thoroughly cleaned one of the coconut caves in its new tank (more Kuhlis) , it joined the rest of its buddies on the spider wood. None of them will touch the green spot algae on the glass though. :~/ I definitely prefer the Red Racers to the Zebra Nerites. The ZNs are masters at hiding!
So my snails have been in my tank for a little over a month now they are super active they get around the tank a lot faster than I thought but other than that I 100% recommend this snails
I ordered 8 of these, I lost 3 in the first 10 days.
I was shipped fish that should not have been shipped!
The 3 fish that died looked like they hadn’t eaten in weeks, skinny past the point of no return when shipped.
I have placed several orders from Aquahuna, moist of the time I am pleased with my purchase. This was the exception, I was very disappointed they would ship such poor quality fish, makes me worry about future purchases.
