I ordered 6 Blue Sparkle Medakas and received 4 Blue Sparkle and 2 Youkihi Sparkle Medakas. All are healthy, and I've got a good mixture of males and females, but the distinction between the two morphs is important. Had I ordered these fish with the intent of breeding these with any seriousness, I'd be extremely disappointed. However, since I'm keeping these for pleasure, it's not such a big deal. 4 stars because I got healthy fish, but I'll think twice the next time I need a fish on whether I order from y'all or not. This was not the only item in my order that was not as described.

I received my 6-pack of these beautiful rice fish last May (2022) and unfortunately over the summer, 4 of the 6 succumbed to internal parasites. I tried to treat with Paracleanse and then medicated flakes but I could only save 2 of the original 6. The other 4 would eat the mediated flakes and anything else I fed them voraciously for the first week or two but they never put on weight and eventually got so skinny they would die from starvation. Fortunately, they did all breed readily for me so I have quite a few fry for my summer ponds this year but be cautious!

I received the fish last month and, in few days, they started to lay eggs. Now I have 6 beautiful adult fish and a ton of baby fish!
