I ordered on a Friday and it took a week to receive my package. The snails seemed dormant at first but the paper towel piece they were wrapped in was still wet. I put them on a paper plate and started adding a little water from the aquarium on them. Within a few minutes they opened and I added them to my tank. They have a nice golden color.

My snails were delivered, just as I was heading out the door. It's horrible to do, but I floated them in my tank and left for work. I oredered 2 horned Nerite and 2 Golden Mysteries. After I got home from work, I acclimated them per AH's instructions and they took off in my 75 gallon. I will purchase more.

Arrived in decent shape, but definitely aren't Golden Mystery snails. While they are Mystery snails, the ones I received have Black bodies, with a partially black shell. My guess is they substituted these for the Golden. Not what I wanted by a long shot ! I have a black background tank, and black bodied snails disappear against that black background. Not happy ...
